It is not often someone is given the right to represent a state. But that is what happened when Margana Wood, the woman chosen to represent the state of Texas in the Miss America Pageant, led the way. But she was not as happy about the honor as it seems. In fact, she took her role and transformed it into a way for her to push her own politics. That is not what this is about.
During a question that was clearly asked in a way that could stir up some feelings, she answered in a very liberal manner. It is obvious that she was trying to make this about her dislike for President Trump. You do not have to like the man. But when you are trying to represent a conservative state, maybe you shouldn’t hate on him quite so much.
“Last month a demonstration of neo-nazis, white supremacists, and the KKK, in Charlottesville, Virginia, turned violent, and a counter protestor was killed. The President said there was shared blame with quote very fine people on both sides. Where there? Tell me yes or no, and explain your answer.”
“I think that the white supremacist issue, it was very obvious, it was a terrorist attack, and I think that President Donald Trump should have made a statement earlier addressing the fact and making sure all Americans feel safe in this country, that is the number one issue right now!”

In response for this answer, some have said, “Thank God she didn’t win!”
And that is not all. Believe it or not, when asked about her wish she said something that was quite odd given her circumstances.
She says her “Secret Dream or Wish” is that “I have secretly always wanted to live in another country.”
It is pretty obvious that this woman has no respect for those that surround her. It is one thing to disagree with someone. It is a whole different situation when you use your stance as grounds to insult someone.
What do you guys think about what she had to say about Trump and his actions?
